New Track: Missy Higgins – Unashamed Desire

Missy Higgins is back with her first new track in over 5 years: Unashamed Desire.

The track (which you can check out below) is fricken awesome. Its a bolder, darker Higgins this time around. Really excited to check out the new album ‘The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle’ when it drops June 1st.

New Track: The Wombats – Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)

It’s been a long time between drinks, but Liverpool’s (second) favourite sons, The Wombats, are back with new track Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves).

Tokyo leads the Wombats down a different musical path than tracks on debut album The Wombats Proudly Present: A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation.

The epic, synth-tastic track is darker lyrically, and sonically the sound is much busier, but the characteristic hooks and pop sensibilities fans have come to expect are still there, waiting to be unleashed.

The Wombats sophomore album is due for release late 2010.
